Choosing and editing the best selection of photos: more than a snap decision

More Than a Snap Decision

A lot of people think that wedding photography ends when the photographer leaves the venue. Surely its just a case of putting the photos on the computer then putting them on a usb for the customer right? I wouldn't blame you for thinking that way, but it doesn't mean you are right. There are a lot of hours, blood, sweat and tears that go into making your photographs beautiful. Ok maybe that was a slight exaggeration, but it does take a lot of time going through the thousands of photographs we take. Think about it this way, we could give you all the images, but you wouldn't want them...trust me you wouldn't. We have remove the images where people are blinking, coughing, sneezing, pulling strange faces, and trust me there a lot of them. We then have to go through and delete the duplicates. You do not want 35 photos of your shoes, you may love them but you do not want that many of them, and imagine that situation but 100 times over with each small detail and each moment, if that's what you want, you need a videographer.

As photographers we pride ourselves in providing beautiful images and we truly believe in quality over quantity. What you might not know is that we then edit your images. We all have a specific style and hopefully you booked us because you liked our style. Part of that style is about putting our own stamp on the images through shooting style and editing. Below are examples of some before and afters from weddings and shoots I have done. I hope you see how the images are enhanced by my editing style.
